Teaching Learning Strategies: Why No Action Yet?

Language learning strategies have been the focus of research since the 1970s up to the present; however, teaching them has not received the same attention. The presenter will describe how he has designed a model of teaching these strategies within a cognitive and sociocultural framework. (Intended audience: English language teachers.)
