If learners can choose the words they learn and the context, this vocabulary is often more memorable. The presenters will introduce an effective vocabulary-building workflow using multiple apps. Teachers’ and students’ opinions on the workflow will also be presented. Intended audience: Teachers interested in mobile technology.
Sarah Hopkyns teaches English at Zayed University, UAE. She is currently completing her PhD at the University of Leicester, focusing on global English and its effect on Emirati cultural identity.
Timothy Nicoll is an English instructor at Zayed University, Abu Dhabi. His research interests centre on the integration and use of learning technologies in the field of English Language Teaching.
