Insights: Motivate and Succeed with Gulf Students

Gulf Arab students are enrolling in English medium colleges in record numbers. This poster will present the results of a survey of Kuwaiti, Qatari, and Omani college, and foundation level students. The results reveal insights for non-Arab educators to better unite, succeed and connect with their Gulf Arab students.

Dr. Abdulghani Al Shuaibi has been working with various student populations throughout the Gulf countries. He has worked in the Sultanate of Oman, State of Qatar, Republic of Yemen, and Malaysia. He is the author of a good number of linguistic papers.
