This presentation will demonstrate motivating, engaging, and productive conversational activities that will move young language learners toward effective interaction. Participants will be introduced to problem solving tasks that bolster group identity through common struggle and build community through play.
Daryl Veatch is pursuing an MA TESOL degree from the University of Northern Iowa. He has utilized problem solving initiatives with; ESL, EFL, and “at-risk” youth populations.
