This session considers Omani college students’ view on the English medium instruction (EMI)policy and the effect it can have on their learning experiences. It also reveals the challenges they have to face and the coping strategies they have to employ. Attendees can consider the EMI policy through a critical lens.
I am an English lecturer in a college in Oman and a doctoral student at Exeter University. My professional interests include language instruction policies and written corrective feedback.
